Representative survey on environmental awareness and behavior in 2022
ConPolicy begins study on environmental awareness in Germany
The Environmental Awareness Study by the German Federal Environment Agency (UBA) and the Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation, Nuclear Safety and Consumer Protection (BMUV) has been surveying environmental awareness and behavior in Germany every two years since 1996 in a representative population survey. The aim is to identify and understand prevailing patterns of thought and action in society and to capture both long-term developments and emerging phenomena in equal measure.
The study is being conducted for the first time by ConPolicy in cooperation with the Institute for Ecological Economy Research (IÖW) and imug. In terms of content, the study builds on the time series of recent years, which are supplemented by new focal topics. The concept study on environmental awareness in companies will also provide new insights on attitudes and behaviors in and of companies.
The study will be completed at the end of 2024.
More information on the project can be found here.
