Social tipping points can only be accelerated if sustainable behavior is adopted. And this is crucial for tackling the climate crisis. From this perspective, this abstract proposes a dynamic model of moral social change that shows how moralization can initially delay tipping points and later accelerate them through social pressure. Policy makers can accelerate this process by making early system-level changes.
