This study examines what young people think about the environment and climate, how they get involved, and which environmental and climate protection measures are important to them. In a representative survey, around 1,000 young people aged 14 to 22 were asked about environmental and climate issues. The results show, for example, that environmental and climate protection are among the most important social issues for young people. Most are convinced that climate change can be combated through joint commitment. And they think that politics should listen more to young people. The youth study was conducted for the third time in 2021. Ten young people supported the research team as a youth project advisory board in designing the study and interpreting the study results.
