Kick-off of the Sustainability Challenge 2014

Is it possible to buy organic products even on a small budget? Can one do without any plastic packaging in the consumer everyday-life? What does it mean to consume and live within 2.7 tonne CO2-emissions per year? Members of the Think Tank 30 (a youth organisation under the roof of the German Chapter of the Club of Rome) will investigate these questions in the Sustainability Challenge 2014 during the next five months. As a member of the tt30 Executive Director, Prof Dr Christian Thorun, will support this challenge as a participant. Furthermore, he will contribute to the analysis of the lessons learned form this experiment. What obstacles need to be overcome in order to make the sustainable choice the easy and natural choice?
