The evaluation of a multitude of data and the derivation of patterns – in other words: big data – are encountered in the most diverse aspects of life. The dossiers in this volume address (socio-political) as well as individual issues from specific areas of life such as insurance and finance. Using examples from everyday life, the effects of big data on opinion-forming, participation in business life and everyday work are discussed in detail and, in particular, judged juridically, economically and socio-politically.
