Gesine Marks started as Communications Manager at ConPolicy in September 2023, where she is responsible for media, PR and events. Her operations include core messages, communication channels, content and visual editing for websites, mailings, newsletters, social networks, as well as press relations and media design (videos, key visuals, layout) for cross-media publications. She is part of several research project teams (e.g. PRIME - Privacy in the Metaverse) and initiatives (e.g. Corporate Digital Responsibility) focussing on science communication and the organization of events.
Before joining ConPolicy, she ran the events team at Wikimedia Deutschland e.V. in the communications department. She gained her extensive expertise in political communication, branding and public relations at TÜV-Verband e.V. in Berlin, where she worked from 2012-2019.
Gesine Marks studied Romance languages and political science at the University of Trier, where she graduated in 2005 with a Master of Arts degree.
