Strengthening youth participation in policy consultingConPolicy starts consulting project for the German Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture

The project 'Strengthening Youth Participation in BMEL Policy Consulting' aims to support the German Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture (BMEL) in raising its youth policy profile and strengthening consultative youth participation in policy consulting.

The 11-month project will start in September 2022 and will be implemented by ConPolicy – Institute for Consumer Policy and nexus Institute for Cooperation Management and Interdisciplinary Research. To ensure that the youth participation approach is effective and well manageable for BMEL's organizational units, this project is based on a mix of methods and stakeholder involvement. The project is implemented in two work steps - development of a concept as well as a manual.
