The Competence Center for Sustainable Consumption aims at promoting sustainable consumption in Germany. The administrative office is based at the Federal Environment Agency. The work of the Competence Center focuses on the provision of knowledge and the networking of stakeholders.
As in a previous project, ConPolicy is again supporting the Competence Center in cooperation with co2online and the Öko Institute (Institute for Applied Ecology) in various scientific, organizational and communication tasks. A significant emphasis is placed on the three main goals of the Competence Center: Informing, networking and supporting the implementation of the National Program for Sustainable Consumption. ConPolicy is mainly responsible for the scientific support and the preparation of different event formats.
