Julius Rauber is a project manager at ConPolicy since May 2017 and responsible for projects in the areas of consumer behavior and consumer policy.
Julius Rauber studied economics (Diplom) at the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich. After completing his studies, he worked in the innovation economics department of Technical University of Berlin, where he was promoted as part of the HARTING Graduate Program. The main focus of his doctorate was on the interplay between the patenting and standardization activities of companies. His dissertation was awarded the "Special Prize for Science" of the German Institute for Standardization e.V. (DIN e.V.). After graduating, Julius Rauber changed the focus of his research from innovation-economics to consumer research and started his postdoctoral position at the Research Center for Consumer, Market and Politics (CCMP) at Zeppelin University Friedrichshafen.
During his time as PostDoc at the CCMP, Julius Rauber published his empirical research findings, in particular on behavioral economic interventions in the area of sustainability, in various journals, among others in the renowned journal "Regulation & Governance" and "Journal of Consumer Affairs".
Furthermore, Julius Rauber worked as an intern at the German Central Bank and as a guest researcher at the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD).
